St Peters Church is fortunate in having two church halls, one dating from the 1970s and the other (known as the Portland Centre) built in the 1990. They are both available for public hire and have a Thanet-wide reputation for their décor, cleanliness and adjacent free car parking. They are keenly sought for parties and exhibitions as well as regular use for clubs and fund raising events such as quiz nights and dances.

A wide cross-section of community activity takes place in the facilities, which include two large halls (the Church Hall and Portland Centre) and there is a smaller room (Mulberry Room) which is suitable for smaller groups and meetings.

Both halls have good facilities for do it yourself catering on a large scale or by catering contractors who might wish to use the facilities.
