Reading Group Rowan Williams’ Tokens of Trust is a refreshing, accessible, and rich introduction to the basics of Christian faith. What do Christians believe, and why? Is it reasonable? What is the relationship between science and religion? Did Jesus rise from the dead? We will discuss these questions over six sessions on Tuesdays beginning 6th May with groups meeting at 2p.m. and 7.30p.m. Each week we will look at one chapter and all members will need to buy the book (at a discounted price!) and have read the relevant chapter. There will be refreshments and plenty of time to raise our own questions!

This group is for anyone who would like to know more about what Christians believe and why. Dr Williams has been Archbishop of Canterbury since 2002, and the book is based on his 2006 Lent talks delivered in our Cathedral.

We will also be running a further group on the same book later in the year.
